Pyramids
The pyramids were made by slaves, they were made for 'pharaohs'. When they were mummified the would be hidden in the tomb. However Tutankhamen's tomb was under ground. Pyramids were protected by sphinx. They were there to scare away all the robbers.
Sphinx
The sphinx are guardians. They guarded tombs. They did not move or do anything. They were just there to scare people away. They were made out of sandstone. They have human heads and a lions body. Sphinx were very unusual in those days.
